Spielraum is an Amsterdam-based queer party. It is a space for the most colourful misfits to express themselves. For their 5-year anniversary, Spielraum organised a 30+ hour weekender for which much lighting and staff were needed. For this weekend Kraft und Licht built a custom light installation and provided passionate light operators to catalyse the Spielraum sound.

The light installation was built using a 2,5 meter truss system spiralling down from the ceiling of Garage Noord.

By hanging the light installation from the ceiling, the spacious dancefloor was optimally used and created a sensual atmosphere through its warm, red lights.

For the light installation, we used our Octa Strip MK2, Laser Bars and LED strobes.
